The idea behind the making of Wag the Tail Studio came about over a recent dinner: my friend Markus Kanaro, who trained in painting in one of Germany’s finest Art Academies, and whose passion is making contemporary portraits spoke about his love of painting animals, especially cats and dogs, and farm animals too. Many of our friends who have pets have expressed the desire to have an original hand painted -NOT AI — work of art for their own home.

So we thought maybe we should launch a platform where it would be possible to request an original portrait for one’s own pet, and if preferable one’s own pet with the pet owner together. And this is what we have just done!

Very soon anyone with a passion for original oil painted portraits of their favorite pets and themselves, depending on what options one choses, will be able to order a custom original non-AI painting from Wag the Tail Studios. Stay tuned!
